I'd say it is a 3D problem, since the tube dimensions
are also fixed - and that makes it even more of a challenge.
For what I can see, the choice is between (1) modifying
the tube and still have to work on the secondary, or
(2) grind the secondary down to a slightly shorter radius
than the optimum, and re-polish/figure. I like the latter better
but, then, I don't really know what I am talking about.
