Who says the speed isn't quite credible? Anyway, there is such a 
minute top not in all nuclei, just some. Plain old hydrogen is one of 
them. And while it has spin, that doesn't miean it's actually 
spinning.... 
If seeing is believing, why would anyone believe a word about black 
holes, the interior workings of stars, or the missing dark matter 
claimed not only to be of a nature we have no idea of, but also make up 
the majority of the mass of the universe?

I recall the days long ago when I had my own grid-dip meter (built 
from a kit) - it would have been just ideal for this kind of 
experiment.
