[ATM] Pitch laps!!!

     Someone else got most of the answers but remember dental plaster (and I
would guess most other types) are probably a lot softer than Pyrex (or
plate) so it shouldn't scratch it. Good luck. I found making my first lap
was a bit of an event (and a little terrifying) but now it is second nature
(okay, okay I did go through 7 or 8 laps on my first mirror but you get the
point)
