[ATM] Flocking

A while ago I asked about baffling and it was concluded that the most
important things to baffle are objects visible through the racked in
focuser. Meaning the opposite side of the tube, behind/around the back of
the mirror if it is open and begin sure you can't see past the end of the
tube (or upper cage for truss dobs).
I am good in all those areas. They are all spray painted flat black as
well. To go a little further I have ordered and recived some Protostar
Hi-Tack Flocking. A 20"X30" sheet.
My question is, should this be applied following the "rules" of
baffling, covering anything visible through the racked in focuser, or is it
only useful, say, across from the focuser? Should I do the entire inside of
my "tube" including the side of the focuser? ( built an open tube OTA)
Will I get the most gain just putting it across from the focuser, as
I've heard that makes the largest improvement. I guess I'm really asking
what parts are worth flocking and what parts aren't due to diminishing
return.
