[ATM] need help with an altitude bearing problem

I believe Televue sells a 2" to 1.25" eyepiece adapter
that is weighted to approximate the weight of one
those big bruiser eyepieces - might work.  

To experiment with the effects of a little added
friction, try putting some Velcro tape next to your
Teflon - closed hook or fuzzy side - to see if it
helps.
