Dear Mahmood Bhai,

Glad to see your reply.

I am an engg. undergraduate student & live in Karachi,
where I have been skywatching since around
ten years now using 7X35mm binocs. Right or wrong,
I think I've looked up almost everything that the
light-polluted sky here can show in this small instrument.
So naturally I've been wanting a scope since some time.
Moreover, I plan to use a scope as a part of my semester
project, which is another excuse to get it. You
know well how I can get one: make it myself.

Your help is most welcome, and I'd be thankful for it.
Have you already given the 9" blank to someone?
And do you have some grit, polish etc. left?
Of course I would jump with excitement if you have the
blank as well as any of the chemicals to spare. I won't
complain if you have just the blank OR the chemicals.
And if... Well, I better leave these ifs & wait for your reply!

About your 6", I am happy you are done with the polishing,
& agree you'll have to do with silvering. Just yesterday,
I was searching the business district of Karachi to find a place
where aluminization might be done. I found none.

And where do you live? I am sorry for posting this message
a little late. I sent you an email at emhl95... some weeks ago.

Zain
