I'd add, for the "am I done?" test, take multiple readings for each 
zone (i.e., move the KE away, then back) to see how accurate your 
readings are and thus the confidence intervals around the P-V, RMS, 
Strehl, etc., estimates for the mirror.  Then the final second 
opinion, a star test.
