[ATM] Finished my telescope

SO how do I go about finding the SOB around here that finished a scope with
out clearing it with me first? It's been raining here now for two weeks and
now there is a cyclone/hurricane sitting just off the coast!

BTW the way I heard it the amount of cloudy day & nights is 10 X the
aperture of the scope in mm! It was true when I completed my 10" F5.6, that
was one wet year that!!!!

FJO I hope you get some clear weather around the 30th of Jan, supposed to be
quite an exciting night for Mars watchers......

Cheers, Thomas.

That is just Karma... Every time someone buys or finishes a telescope, the
cloud gods get angry and prove their power over mortal man...

I just completed my Eight inch f/6 telescope, mounting and all.

I ground, polished and figured the optics, made the optical tube assembly
and the mount and asembled all myself.

Now, I just need to balance the tube, which is adjustable and collimate the
optics and I'm ready for first light.

The mirror mount, focuser, four vane spider,, diagonal mirror and it's
holder are the commercially purchased parts.

First light will have to wait however as we are awaiting a snowstorm with
cloudy conditions that may last until Wednesday here in lower New York.
