If you need to get them re-coated I can suggest a couple of Australian
companies that can do the job, I might even be able to act as your agent, as
I live in Australia so it should be quite easy.

If you want, I can get some prices together. I will say up front that
getting it done locally (in Malaysia) would be the cheapest option, but if
that is not an option I believe Australia might be your next best bet.

BTW if you really want to replace the secondary a 2.5" minor axis secondary
shouldn't be hard to get, one option is www.newportglass.com they have
coated 1/10th wave mirrors of the shelf, I don't know their pricing or turn
around, but I have found them, personally, to be quite good to deal with in
the past when I have need custom glass parts.

Hi,

 

I have an Old MEADE Starfinder 8” f/6 OTA. Butrecently I found out
that secondary mirror have some fungal growth on it. Wishto get a new one.

 

So, anyone of you can suggest which suppliers still cansupply this mirror?
Or I need to change the new set of secondary mirror withholder?

 

BTW, I am staying at Malaysia. Can it be ship to here?
