My new 110 cm f/4 (43.3") portable alt-azimuth telescope is now
"officially" under construction.

If everything goes well with this ambitious and exciting project, the
telescope should see its first light in the first half of 2008.

Good Luck! It would be the biggest amateur scope I know of until the Group70
people (71") get theirs done, for other who might be looking for big blanks
this source has up to 48" cellular and prices seem reasonable.
