[ATM] Grit dispenser

Julio,

I'm not going to use a timer, I am going to use a Scale w/RS232 interface
and have a small cpu
read the scale and control the Grit flow with a solenoid.

The cpu is aka a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and for $99 you get 8
bits in 6 relays out (2A each) to control things.
There is also an expansion slot for one more I/O card.

I tried a few things with the Hand Spreader (Fertilizer) and it did OK on
Silicon Carbide but the finer Aluminum Oxide did not flow.

So I am looking at new things to use as a hopper...

I'll get there... no rush... been measuring grit by hand for 6 years... a
few more months does not matter...
(Yes Got Grit is 6 years old, I can't believe it!)

Tomo
