Just a quick progress report. We kicked off the mirror making class with 16
mirror makers, according to my count. Sizes are: 6, 6, 8, 8, 8, 10, 10, 10,
12, 14, 14, 14, 16, 16, and various. Glass types are plate, Pyrex, and
quartz.

We talked about goals for the class and got organized. Some started with
rough grinding, others with making tools for their already generated
mirrors. Rough grinders mainly started in using ring tools, a couple using
supplied ceramic tile tools. The typical work station consists of a
non-stick matt, the blank, the tool, and various grits, along with a spray
water bottle and paper towels. We had a Ronchi tester running.
