Yep it is over cooked.

There are an number of ways to back up. One would be to use the 1/3 D
strokes near Center over Center.

Subject: [ATM] Over-shot Long. Aberration

I'm making my first mirror, Finished polishing, got a pretty nice sphere (I
think) and started figuring. I'm using a slitless tester (moving light
source), all was going well until in dawned on me that I need to double my
knife edge readings!!!! Duh!!! Now I think I have over shot my "ideal"
longitudinal abb. by a considerable amount! What can I do? Here are the
numbers for my mirror:

8" dia.

ROC=89.56

Zone 1 Radius=1.47

Zone 2 Radius=2.60

Zone 3 Radius=3.37

Zone 4 Radius=4.00

KE Readings on each zone

Z1=.000

Z2=.097

Z3=.130

Z4=.151

I hope I can fix this, I don't want to continue until I get some advice from
some veterans.  Thanks guys!

Michael
