I made a 15 F5 and here is a link to a picture of some of the tools I used during the process.

For hogging I used the metal tools then for fine grinding I switched to the Hydrostone.

Yes, those are US nickels glued to the Hydrostone.  I made that tool by casting it from an already ground 16 F5.  I was lucky to find a friend who had an unpolished one to use as the mold.

  For final polishing I used a full sized Hydrostone tool.  For figuring I used an 8 inch sized tool.
