A trick I learned for Plaster of Paris or others of the type is add a big bottle of Elmer's glue to a gallon of plaster. I got this from a guy who makes casts for prosthetics. We did a gun stock mold this way and when we got done using it we set it out in the weather. Three years later it was just the same.... Mike
