UK drawings in Imperial??. They must be very old, nobody has produced
Imperial engineering drawings in the UK for 30 years or more. We may
drink pints and drive miles and buy a pound of potato, but those have
been retained just as cultural relics. To all effects, the UK is
thoroughly metricated and has been for decades. Ask most engineers
under 60 to cut off 9/16" of material and he would have to get a
calculator out. Us crumblies would just cut 14mm ;)
